Since being elected in 2021 some of the things I have done include:

Visit the schools to see our educators in action.

Helped to develop our district moral imperative "The School District of South Milwaukee acts with a relentless commitment to remove barriers and care for all students so they feel accepted and will learn without exception."

Participated in the 2022 Wisconsin School Board Association Convention to engage with fellow board members and educational experts statewide, fostering collaboration and exchanging best practices.

Member of the Superintendent hiring committee.

Contacted every member of the 2023 Joint Finance Committee to advocate for public education funding.

Attended the WPEN Summer Summit to learn from educators and students about issues and challenges being faced in classrooms today.
